What we loved
• Very comfortable beds and pillows
• Overall cleanliness of the house, especially how spotless the ovens were, and the fact there were two of them, real bonus!
• The large fridge (and having two of them)
• Plenty of dishes, cutlery, and kitchen essentials
• Nice quality towels
• Spacious, comfortable layout that worked really well for a large group
• Enough bathrooms, seating, and table space for everyone
• The games room was a great addition
• The second fridge in the games room was very useful
•The app and communication with the owner was great.

As we were a family party of 10 adults and 2 children celebrating Christmas, this venue was perfect, nestled out in the countryside as it is, with a friendly local pub within walking distance. The Christmas tree was up and decorated nicely along with a few more decorations within the lounge area. The bedrooms were comfortable, clean and pleasantly decorated. Sitting in the lounge, around the log fire was delightful. The kitchen had everything needed to create Christmas dinner etc.

We chose Merrymeet to host our family reunion over Bank Holiday weekend in August. It was the perfect accommodation to host 15 of us and 2 dogs. There was ample space in the living areas and lots of kitchen utensils and equipment to use. Games room was fantastic for kids and adults and communication with person on call was also spot on.
