The house was warm and cosy, and everything we needed was provided - towels, bed linen, kitchen had all we needed for self catering for a large group, and the lounge was huge with loads of logs for the burner, and blankets and cushions on the enormous sofas. The dining room table was enormous and a great space for entertaining. Bedrooms all clean and spacious, most with fabulous views. Would recommend.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.Lorraine Russell2022-07-21Great place plenty of space and the countryside is gorgeous.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.Kitsukei Aozaki2022-03-21Honestly a gorgeous little house tucked away in the countryside. Beautifully quiet and so many rooms with its own game Room featuring pool, table tennis and table football, alongside an Xbox 360 with heavy variety in games and a smart TV with a ludicrous amount of dvd movies to pick from as well. My only point of improvement would be lockable bedrooms I suppose :) highly recommend this placeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.Robert Poole2021-10-11Thirteen of us stayed here over 3 nights and we all had a great time. The house itself is a great size even for 16 guests and it's very comfortable and has a cozy feel to it. The house was very clean upon arrival and had everything that you would need for your stay. The location is great as there are lots of walking routes nearby, the local pub is only 10 minutes walk and if you want to go for a night out in Leek (as we did), it's only 15 minutes taxi ride. Other must visit pubs nearby are The Yew Tree in Cauldon and Black Lion Inn in Butterton.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.Joshua Healy2021-08-03Beautiful cottage, placed in the middle of the country side, on a quiet lane. Rooms are a good size and plenty of bathrooms and showers, for when you need them most! Especially when you have a full house like we did! The house was clean and tidy when we arrived, bedding was made and it has a real country home feeling to it! Some of the local pubs are really nice to visit also!Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.adam padley2021-08-03Went there for a stag do, amazing weekend, very clean, very comfy and good games roomTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.ahmed barkatali2020-09-07We stayed here to celebrate a few 30th birthdays and we were not disappointed. Plenty of space, had a great BBQ. We went quadbiking also which was only 20 kins away. Place was very clean and reasonably priced also.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.Adam Wilson2020-07-22We stayed here for a family get together and it was such a fantastic experience. The landscape surrounding the cottage is idyllic and picturesque and the building gave a sense of nostalgia and magic. We'll definitely come here again in the future.
